Grammar structures to help with writing process essays:
- Passive: Last, the coffee is poured into a mug.
- Modals of advice & necessity: You must make sure that there are no coffee grounds left over.
- Gerunds and infinitives: It is important to not let the coffee get too hot. Putting the coffee in the mug too early can cause it to break.
- Time clauses & reduced phrases: After you pour the coffee into the mug, enjoy it! / After pouring the coffee into the mug, enjoy it!
- Imperatives: Wash the mug after drinking the coffee.
